The operation is performed under general anesthesia at the clinic and lasts about an hour and a half. Compression stockings are placed after the procedure as well as a light compression garment around the waist if fat was removed from the abdomen.
You will spend the first night at the clinic to ensure adapted supervision and proper pain treatments. You will be able to walk on the same day but will have to take 5 to 15 days off of work for a proper recovery.
